MEET OUR DIRECTOR, NATALIE
Natalie Murray grew up in the urban dreamland of Sydney, Australia, and received her Bachelor of Arts with a major in Communications from Australia's Griffith University. After beginning her career in television, Natalie became a full-time journalist and editor for Sky News Australia and New Zealand. Natalie worked as a producer, writer, reporter, and researcher across a number of the channel's highest-rating programs, including the weekly health series Health Report, book show Book Report, political program Agenda, environmental series Eco Report, and entertainment show Showbiz. As the network's entertainment correspondent, Natalie also covered many live events, such as the Academy Awards, and interviewed many high-profile celebrities including Angelina Jolie, Elton John, Sylvester Stallone, Dustin Hoffman, Cameron Diaz, Russell Brand, Keanu Reeves, Matt Damon, Jerry Lewis, Will Ferrell, and Jerry Seinfeld.
Natalie moved to Hong Kong in 2009, where she began working locally as a freelance copywriter, editor and proofreader. Within a year, Natalie formed English Editor Asia to streamline her growing amount of work. In addition to helping hundreds of brands improve their communications, Natalie has taught business writing through General Assembly, and had her first young adult novel published in 2019, named Emmie and the Tudor King. Natalie remains a permanent resident of Hong Kong, but currently works from the beautiful east coast of Australia.
